We supply two levels of security:
Cat 1 is the approval for a combined car alarm and immobiliser
This range of alarms have built-in immobilisers or an upgrade to category 1 using the vehicles existing immobiliser where fitted. These offer the highest level of protection. These alarms can be linked to the vehicle central locking system for remote lock/unlock and come with 2 remote key fobs.
Cat 2 is the approval for a standalone immobiliser
A touch key immobiliser requires an electronically coded key fob to be inserted into a receptacle on the dash before starting the engine whereas a transponder immobiliser uses a key fob that transmits a wireless coded signal to the engine that allows it to start.

The Clifford Concept 650 is an ideal insurance approved Cat1 alarm system. It can be adapted and enhanced to meet your needs. For example you can add a turbo timer or remote start. It is also great for convertibles; you can leave the top down and still be protected! It also comes with two circuit immobilisers, so the car cannot be driven away.
